The Greenhouse
Located in Bar Harbor, Maine, the structure was known as The Greeenhouse due to its previous incarnation as the potting shed for the adjacent McCormick estate. It later became our design studio and sign shop.

In the summer of 2000 we began converting the "greenhouse" into a bigger and more enjoyable studio space for our design and sign business. The biggest component of this conversion was the tearing down of its middle section, and its subsequent rebuilding, with a higher ridgeline and gable dormers.

In retrospect I can say that I bit off a bit more than I could chew. Still, that is not to say that the project did not bear its own variety of fruit that I still enjoy today, though  we left the Greenhouse behind years ago.
