As a third-generation family artist, Max Kelly carries on the creative tradition inspired by his grandfather, a well-known illustrator in the early 20th century; and his father, a commercial photographer during the booming post-war period. Max migrated from Chicago to the tropics 10 years ago for his own artistic inspiration and happiness. From his Nokomis home-studio, Max supports his addiction to the sun and water by doing graphic design, location photography, tiki carving, and playing percussion in local latin combos.
